The Zie ecosystem is meant to support exchange of Zie coins with more traceability than any current real or digital currency. It has the possibility to trace every single coin (and coin bits) thanks to their unique coin id (serial number). This capability comes with the benefit of being able to single out every coin. This uniqueness enables creativity by having a multitude of different coins. These characteristics bring their deal of complexity and 2 different views were developed to appeal to different types of users.
User View: This view is suited for users that only care about amounts of coins and not singling out any of them. That view is then a simplification of the Zie ecosystem by simply enabling financial exchanges of amounts of currency and not specifically of coins. This view is perfectly suited for business oriented people or organizations and is the equivalent of current bank accounts in terms of capabilities.
Collector View: This view is suited for users interested in the trading and collecting of coins, avid of finding a gem among their pouches, buying coins for the purpose of trading with others, stamping everlasting coins and minting them. This view enables users to look at the market value of coins and opens up the various possibilities of the market environment. Although this seems like a gamification of an account, it is more than that as it offers the management of valuable collectibles and still offers all the banking possibilities of the user view. The Collector view is an extension to the user view by allowing singling out coins for the purpose of trading or minting.
A user switching from collector view to user view loses the capability to see the coins, but there are no changes to the pouch other than to display the information. Nothing is changed to the underlying coins and the user can go back at any time to the collector view display. Note that any action in collector view affects the user view in a similar way.
For example, a coin in the market will still be in the market and locked to the user even if the user switches to the user view. A locked coin cannot be used for transfers in user view as well as collector view.
