Short answer: lock your coin. Locking a coin can be done in the pouch view content menu. There are two coin actions for this: LOCKED and SELECTIVELY LOCKED. LOCKED prevents any coin action (including AI selection), while SELECTIVELY LOCKED prevents only the AI from using the coin. Once SELECTIVELY LOCKED is set, the coin can be used only through manual selection as part of a trade.
Short answer: selectively lock your coin. Locking a coin can be done in the pouch view content menu. A SELECTIVELY LOCKED coin can only be used through manual coin selection as part of a trade.
Once a coin is offered in a kiosk, it becomes locked and cannot be traded or used in a transaction because it must remain available in the kiosk at all times. If the coin is unlocked from the pouch menu, it is automatically removed from the kiosk. This prevents users from trying to buy a coin that is no longer available because it was already traded. For a coin to become sellable in the market again, the user must return to kiosk setup and re-apply the sales orders.
Short answer: yes. Stamping (also called coining) permanently applies an image to a coin. "Stamping a coin" is generally clearer, but both terms have the same meaning.
Short answer: no. A coin can have only one action, and that action applies to all ownership of that coin for that pouch owner. It is, however, possible to offer less than the full amount owned by specifying a partial amount. The residual portion of that coin then becomes protected.
For example, if 1000 coin bits are owned but the offered size is 900 (as one offer of 900 or three offers of 300), the residual amount (100) is protected. This guarantees that the kiosk owner still holds some coin bits of that coin even if all available offers are sold. The protected coin bits become available to be used in transactions only after the kiosk offer is removed, even if all available offers were fulfilled.
Short answer: yes. Any coin action set in Collector mode also applies to the pouch in User mode. A coin offered in a kiosk, or a locked coin, keeps its state even when the user is in User mode, but new coin actions are not available in User mode.
For example, a coin locked in Collector mode cannot be used in any transaction in either Collector mode or User mode. Switching to a different mode does not change that. Similarly, a coin offered in a kiosk is unavailable for transactions in User mode and can still be sold while the user is in User mode.
Short answer: no. A coin action can only be applied in Collector mode, but the state remains consistent whether the pouch is in User or Collector mode. A coin locked in Collector mode can only be unlocked in Collector mode. A locked coin cannot be part of a transaction in either mode.
